Never one for combat, Peter does not resent being sent into the field. He knows he would likely die or be captured in any case. What is left of the original Order would consider him an incredible get. They'd love to make him answer for all the blood on his hands.
Assisting the other Death Eaters with menial tasks is not so bad. It's something he's become good at, after tending a half-dead Dark Lord for months before restoring him to his proper body. He gathers useful information about the others besides.
Sometimes he's used that information to stir the pot. All for his own amusement.
