What would it mean, Amber having lived? Raised with a deep respect for her home culture, and an equally deep curiosity for the pieces of it lost to time, Citrine would follow in her mother's footsteps as an archaeologist exploring the lost temples and cities within the Belomisia. Among the first to find the Templo del Obscuridad, a surprise encounter with the Huntress Fern Strike, and an even more surprise encounter with the ancient vampire slumbering within, would send her crashing headlong through the Darkness.
But where there is Darkness, there is Light.
Having survived their time in Sanguine's tender care, Citrine and Fern are blessed with a life full of love...and the pitter patter of many little feet! Quintuplets were a complete surprise, but each of their children--protective Jade, optimistic Agate, loyal Malachite, clever Emerald, and brave Peridot--brought such joy and love into their lives they could hardly complain!
But nothing, not even goodness, lasts forever...and with the Darkness fast approaching, one of their beloved children would pay the ultimate price.
(AKA, what Gen 5's life was supposed to be, and the result that would have lead into Gen 6. Yes, my original plan was for QUINTS, with Cit carrying twins Em and Peri, and Fern carrying the other three. I made it as far as Phase Teen with this bunch, mostly because so full a house was driving me nuts and partly....well. :3 We'll speak of that another time)
updated to 1.99, making sure all my mods were functional and. guys. guys. GUYS THE SKYBOXES IN SUNBLIND ARE OMG I AM NEVER USING ANOTHER LIGHTING MOD EVER AGAIN.

Crystal Gen 5 is going to take a dark turn from now until August 27th. Our girls will survive this, and there is no overly harsh blood and gore, but be advised that this next section contains themes of Imprisonment, Violence (sword combat), death of background characters, implied (not shown) torture, vampire related violence, and temporary main character death.
Yeah. it's a lot. To say this section ran off with the bakery on me is an understatement, my loves, so please care for yourselves first and foremost. Citrine and Fern will survive this, I promise you, there will be a Gen 6, but if any of these themes are too much I implore you to not consume this content for a while. We'll be here when it's over!

So, 2022 was. A Thing. But despite all odds we’re still here, we’re moving forward, and life continues. If my story has brought any of you any cheer this year, I’m glad for it, and thank you all for coming along for the ride. Here’s to 2023 being better than what we leave behind.
