oh?? I'm a doofus,, what're these match-up thingies?
Oh! Well basically you make a small description of yourself, explaining your personality and all and the person you ask this to will match you with a character that they think would suit you best, more or less explaining why they think so! I think it's really exciting to ask because everyone has different headcanons and views!
I’m curious to know more about Astrid and G’raha’s sibling relationship. How did they grow to be so close?? How did Astrid feel about G’raha sealing himself away in the Tower? How did she feel about seeing him again as the Exarch? I just want to know more about the sibling relationship!!
(A bit about me first: I SAW HIM AND MY MIND WENT BROTHER SHAPED MUST PROTECT!!! for some reason he activates my big sister instinct)
Astrid and G'raha got close during the investigation of the crystal tower, Astrid is a very protective person and this kitty is too smart for his own good, she likes that🤣 G'raha starts looking up to her and when she insists she should be the one looking up to him. they kinda get into a NO YOU ARE BETTER fight, they end up laughing it off and that's how it started.
Astrid ABSOLUTELY HATED leaving him behind, she was two seconds away from crying the whole time (she did cry as soon as they came back from sealing him, but she did it hiding in Pompom's stable) For the first two days she was so angry with him.... But she then understood it.. but the pain was still there. Astrid actually started writing letters to him and having them in a safe place for him to find whenever he woke up.
She knew.... and yes she did hit him for not telling her first thing, but she then basically squeezed him and almost cried again. She was about to throw a fit the second time he was left behind till the found how to get him in the source too.
@firelightmuse won the contest for the milestone and asked for an interaction between Astrid and her dear brother G'raha in the first after the whole 5.0 srory.
So here it is. BTW IT'S HER BIRTHDAY SO YOU ALL BETTER GO AND WISH HER A HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎂 🎊 🎉
“There you are”
A sad smile appeared in the face of Astrid, G’raha sits by her side, she looks at the crystal growth on his skin and thinks of all the time he spent waiting for them.
“You need anything?” She asks.
“I wanted to see how you are dealing with everything, now that you are going back”
“I- I am good, I think….”
“You haven’t slept in two days, you don’t get out of your room and Feo’ul told me that you’ve been crying and not eating. So you should start telling me how can I help you”
“Feo’ul needs to stop telling people stuff, cause they told me you almost tried to invent some excuse so we stay here longer”
G’raha looks surprised, opening his mouth before closing it, his ears plastered against his skull.
“I- I just-”
“You just wanted a bit more time with her.” The smile she gifts him is soft, he looks down ashamed and she continues. “I don’t blame you, we all want to have just a few more moments with the ones we love…”
“You sound… Experienced”
“Curious thing when you are the one with over 100 years of life right” Her voice is now a bit dark, her tail trembling, showing her true feelings, she’s about to cry.
For a moment G’raha just looks at her, in his memory she was different, she was more snarky, always with a quick reply, she was all talk and bite but never with her friends, she was kind and sweet.
The woman to his side is but a shadow of her, her eyes are darker now, scars have bloomed in her skin and her voice speaks of a broken heart. A hundred years for him with a lot of pain yes… but to suffer so much in much less made her cold and distant.
He hugs her, and she just cries in silence, he wonders for a second if sending her back alone would be a good idea.
"Would you like to go back already?" He asks softly, he feels so bad now, all this adventure has turned her into a shell and it's his fault, he called for her after all.
"I don't know…. I don't know what I'm going to do. How do you keep going after something like this?!"
"Trid you're one of the strongest people I know, not only physically, but also emotionally, you can overcome this, it's just that right now the wound it's too open, too raw. Gods know I needed at least years before I stopped kicking myself for not being honest with… You at least could find a semblance of happiness, it was brief yes, but even a single day sharing your life with the one you love is better than a hundred years alone believe me"
"Then why are you here? Go and tell her already you dummy"
G'raha blinks surprised, then smiles, that's his self proclaimed sister after all… Even after losing the man she loved she's more worried about HIS love life, she's pushing HIM to action.
"I- I will, but first I want to make sure my favorite sister is good enough, You're the closest thing I have to a family. And come on, I missed you, you need to tell me all the places you've seen, tell me about the steppe, you promised remember?"
Astrid stays silent for a moment, her tears running down her face, they fall against the crystal skin.
" It's a long story"
"I'll always have time for you, family always has time for each other"
"Ok but afterwards you better be telling Yume you love her, at least so you can feel better about not telling her before"
"Yes mom"
They laugh at his tone, and for a couple hours they both feel safe and away from the pain in their lives.
“This is nice. You and me. Against the world.”
(watch me use a different character for each one of this, otherwise this would be full of Ardbert, so have some G'raha 😊😊)
It feels... He can't describe how it feels to be sitting by her side like this without hiding his face from her.
He looks at her, she looks at the star, eyes closed, tail swishing and a faint smile.
"what are you thinking" her voice is a whisper, she opens an eye to look at him.
"About how different things are here from the first..."
She turns now, her hands cupping his face, he can feel his face getting as red as his hair...
"liar, please tell me"
"I just don't want... I'm afraid that... I feel awfully scared and" He frowns, searching for the words, but she just smiles and kisses him.
"Don't be, this feels nice, you and me against the world, and not even the end of it will take me away from you"
He can just nod blushing before she kisses him again, lips soft as a silk, pouring all the love she feels for him.

I'm very special when it comes to tags, I like having my own tag for each character and here I'm going to try to keep a list of them, and also give a small explanation of them. I plan to update it as soon as I got more ideas.
For my Warrior of light Astrid Lucis: Astrid the lucid (The pun is very cool, Lucis in latin means light as we all know thanks to final fantasy XV, and it's extremely similar to the word lucid, which means smart or BRILIANT. Also Astrid is a Norse name meaning divine beauty or beautiful goddess, so we have a beautiful goddess that's brilliant 😉😉)
