From all over! Some I find on my travels, some are traded to me, some I buy from specific merchants, and some I have set up to be regularly delivered!
Sometimes they’re gifted! (A lot of times they’re just geodes or plain quartz, but they’re pretty and the thought is appreciated~)

Rainbow Dash took a slow, shaky breath as she approached the doors of the crystal palace. Being Twilight's friend meant she was on more casual terms with the princesses than most ponies, but something about doing this still felt wrong. Of course, it wasn't hard to hide her anxiety behind her usual bravado. Her? Nervous? Never! Though... she did have a lot on her mind. She needed advice, she needed to understand what was happening, and Cadence seemed like the only pony that might understand.
Princess Cadance had been out on the balcony above the palace doors, the one that overlooked the majority of her kingdom. It was a lovely day, and she was enjoying the warmth of the sun in the sky above her. She closed her eyes and drew in a deep breath, before exhaling happily and glancing around. Below her, she noticed Rainbow Dash approaching the castle, and called out to her.
"Rainbow Dash? Is that you? Its so wonderful to see you!" She said as she leaned over the side of the balcony. Spreading her wings, she flew down to greet the other mare. Cadance smiled before asking, "What brings you to the Crystal Empire?"
