There was a great number of kids at the game shop; though it came as no surprise with the holiday break right around the corner. Aichi had been hanging near the counter, chatting with Misaki who was working on the front line to monitor the fervent activity.

When she’d taken to the storage room to find a new box of boosters to open for the display, he took the opportunity to peel himself away and wander.

The games he was mostly familiar with from sight alone, and when he’d happened upon a game of Duel Monsters, there were cards of a variety he didn’t recognize. None of the players he’d seen before had anything like it.

            That said, it had been a while since he’d stopped by.

     “I hope you don’t mind my interrupting. I was wondering what that is?” he asked, pointing to the card in question, reading ‘Pendulum’.
