Arbitrism:
As an artistic process the shape building is instinctual while the filling method is more disciplined. While developing these pieces, as with expressionism, it is about feeling and innate artistic desire and responsibility rather than considered design and expected structure. In a sense the process and the finished product are of equal merit.
