Chooby Pizza at the Courtyard

Our favorite neighborhood Chye Seng Huat Hardware coffee shop is back with another great dining collaboration featuring Chooby Pizza which is popular for its great tasting pizza made with lots of love and care.

For our pizza night, we ordered two pizza, Pepperoni and Truffle Mushroom, served with sweet potato fries and complimentary drinks.

Chooby Pizza is made to order with staff preparing the pizza in the open courtyard of Chye Seng Huat Hardware.

The sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside while the lemonade was refreshing without being too sweet.

After waiting for around 15 minutes, our pizza were served!

For both pizza, the dough was impressive. It was soft and chewy, with lots of bite and flavor. However, the toppings were lacklustre while the pizza is a bit over done and charred. The Chooby Pizza team might be unfamiliar with the oven and is not able to control the temperature adequately. We gave our feedback to the team and we hope that they will be able to improve as we saw a lot of potential in what was being served.

Overall, it was a fun dining experience at our favorite neighborhood coffee shop and we cannot wait to see what Chye Seng Huat Hardware and Chooby Pizza has in store for us in the future!

We finally arrive via taxi at Chye Seng Huat Hardware. Thankfully, they were open. We learned of CSHH last year and I found their coffee excellent. They are worth the visit as one of the best coffee shops in Singapore, but CSHH STILL HAS A PROBLEM and I'll bet you a latte they still HAVE NOT done as I STRONGLY SUGGESTED. I told them a year ago and again this trip too... Offer a Matcha and Tea of your choice 'Latte' SANS the coffee. My wife loves the Matcha (culenary matcha,honey, & almond milk) and Earl Grey Lattes (or any tea she'd like) made with moo/soy/almond milks, I fix for her. Why isn't that on the menu???
