I know the context here is a little different but imagine being dragged like this by a lightly frantically jogging nick stokes

“You stay with me! Stay with me!”

From an explosion, a killer, a fire, any sort of emergency or hell—maybe even running for the sake of running on an adventure cause he’s just so excited to take you to wherever it is y’all are going—blood is pumping, heart is racing, your vision vibrating in and out of focus but you see Nick clear as day, and when the running is done you run into him, into his arms and he just grabs you and says,

“You’re safe now.”
