CTET 2019 Syllabus & Exam Pattern: The CTET 2019 Exam will be conducted in two phases - Paper I and Paper II. Both the papers will be conducted on a single day in different shifts. CTET 2019 Paper I (Primary Stage) will be for the candidates who intend to teach Class I to V and CTET Paper II (Elementary Stage) will be for the candidates who intend to teach Class VI to VIII. Both Paper I and Paper II have Objective Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The Syllabus and Exam Pattern of the both remains the same. PAPER-1: The candidates who wish to teach for grade 1 to 5 will be appearing for paper 1 of the CTET. Paper 1 examination is conducted for 150 marks and the duration of the examination is 2 hours and 30 mins. All the questions are choice-based questions. There are 5 subjects and each subject carry 30 marks each. The subjects are as follows Child Development and Pedagogy Language 1 Language 2 Mathematics Environmental Science The exam is scheduled to take place from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm on December 8. PAPER-2: The paper 2 examination is conducted for the candidates who wants to teach classes 6 to 8. It is also a 150 marks examination where the candidates have to prepare for 5 subjects. The subjects are Child Development and Pedagogy Language 1 Language 2 Mathematics and Science Social Studies The first 3 subjects is for 30 marks each, whereas Mathematics and Science and Social Studies will be for 60 marks each. The paper 2 examination will be held from 2:00 to 4:30 pm on December 8, 2019. CTET Exam Pattern 2019: CTET exam comprises 2 papers for Primary and Elementary Stage.
