It shrieks, a harmful thing, sure to cause physical damage as it begins to thrash around, letting go of the human in exchange for using all limbs to attempt to rip the net appart, electricity crackles from it's body as it lashes out on attack instinctively.
They manage to swim out of the nets reach once let go, barely avoiding the things jaws. However they struggle to stay above water due to their panic from before. They get dragged up onto the boat by a human who had jumped into the water to save them.
Of course, as soon as they're safe however they watch the creature as it struggles to get free. If only it knew what those nets were made of, maybe it'd stop trying and simply give up.
They were hopping to study this thing alone for longer but, oh well. What can a person do?
The other's on the boat aim one of the harpoons, waiting for an opening. As soon as a non-lethal shot it ready, it's fired.
The human doesn't even look away. They've seen it plenty times, and they've given all the pity they could give long ago.
The sting of salt burns at their side as they look down. What they previously thought wet simply from the ocean adventure they were just dragged out to, turns out to be blood.
" ████ ? C'mon, we'll get you patched up further on board. " One of the other members of the boat has approached the human, resting a hand on their shoulder.
" Do not call me that. And I am fine. "
