March Monday surprises for a March Monday baby! 💖💖💖 Thought the surprise was over after the family threw one yesterday. 😅 This post is the least I could do for all of you beautiful souls! 💞 ✨Surpressed tears of joy at work when I watched this beautiful wish all the way from Switzerland this morning. This year's book. Wasn't planning on following up on the birthday themed book I got last year but somehow this book found me during my last visit to the book fair recently. I took it as an opportunity to continue this new tradition every year, Insha Allah. Regarding the book, a few of the stories were too "interesting" or perhaps "challenging" for a simple gal such as myself. Some made me reflect on my life (as birthdays usually do especially after reaching 30) and one of the things that I discovered was that I don't remember most of my birthdays...Which opened up many questions I do not wish to explore right now. The collection of stories compiled by Murakami in this book are far from simple. The one in the picture is the piece which he wrote especially for this project of his and is one of my favourites (I think it's because I miss Tokyo so much).
