12: OCs that aren't mine that I like?

To be honest, I don't know many people's OCs.. The ones that I do know, I like. I'm sorry this answer isn't very good..

13: Any troublemaker OCs?

Too many. Lol! Vincent can be a bit of a troublemaker at times. As well as my other characters such as Swift and Tricks from Fallout New Vegas. Then there's a few in Skyrim and Oblivion as well. I also have a few for Fallout 4 too. Oh and Cuinn and Adie from my original story The Hidden Folk are quite the troublemakers too! They're tiny adorable rascals. Lol. 😄😆

24: Which of your OCs would you want to meet?

Actually a lot of my OCs have really bad backstories so I think it would be bad if I met them. They'd probably be like: "Why'd you make my life so terrible?!" and I'd be running away screaming: "I'm sorry! I just wanted to make you more interesting!" 😭😅Though if I could meet an OC who wouldn't hate me, I'd pick C6-37 (Simon) my Synth OC from Fallout 4. He's really nice and sweet. 😄

Human Hunting and Danger

Cuinn and Adie meet at the river to try and spot the Human that had been seen the night before. The next day something happens in the Haven.

Sorry it took me so long to write chapter three.. I had a really bad case of writer's block.

Also I'm sorry if this story is really stupid and I'm also sorry if it wasn't written too well I rushed the ending a little.. I promise that I'll try to fix any spelling or grammatical errors I find later.

Faeries are mischievous little things. Young ones are always looking for the best opportunities for practical jokes. Cuinn and Adie were often thought of as rascals, when the both of them were younger they often sneaked into the castle. Snooping around in the castle and stealing sweets from the kitchens.

The two Faerie boys never got in too much trouble for it. All Faerie children have mischievous tendencies, the elders knew of this because they were like that once too. Not all of them were completely interested in mischief-making though, some young Faeries can be a bit more responsible. Usually it was those who had an advanced amount of magic, preferring to hone their skills and study instead of playing pranks and jokes.

Faeries always grow out of playing practical jokes when they get older. Cuinn and Adie were only twelve years-old, still very young in Faerie years. The winged creatures could live up to a thousand years-old. The two boys had sneaked into the kitchens again and grabbed some snacks to eat while they waited to see if the Human would come back.

Cuinn and Adie decided to have a small picnic while they waited. There were flower cakes (cakes decorated with beautiful flowers), freshly baked cookies, tasty jams, and muffins. For drinks they had very sweet juice made from nectar, it was incredibly healthy and it could restore a fatigued Faerie's energy really quickly.

"Alright Cuinn! This is the spot where the Human showed up right?"

"Absolutely! Let's eat our snacks while we wait though, it would be a shame to waste all of it!"

"Good plan!"

They started with some bread and jam first. The sweetness of the berries was like an explosion of flavours! Then the two boys ate some of the flower cake. Delicate icing decorated the baked goods, creamy and delightful. Cuinn and Adie took sips of the nectar, it was so sweet that the two Faeries ended up making 'poker faces', the ended up falling over in a fit of giggles after that.

"That was delicious! We should save the rest for later. I'm full to bursting!" Adie said jokingly while he packed up the desserts into a basket, Cuinn put the drinks away, carefully sealing them shut with a metal lit.

Faeries were known to always save their leftovers. When it came to food, preserving it was incredibly easy. The ice elemental Faeries had an everlasting abundance of ice that they would usually sell in the market. Cuinn had a box in his tree-home that was regularly filled with ice, freezers like these were commonplace in an average Faerie's house. Though wealthier ones would have special store rooms created specifically by a team of Snow Faeries.

Things got very quiet after that. Cuinn and Adie listened to the sounds of birds chirping and rushing water while they waited for the Human girl to show up. Eventually it started to get dark. Next thing Cuinn knew was that it was late in the evening.

"Haha.. this was fun, but I'm getting a little tired. I'm gonna go home now, wanna come?" Adie rubbed his eyes and gave the shorter Faerie a sleepy smile. In contrast to Adie's sleepiness, Cuinn felt wide awake. Wanting to stay here a little bit longer.

"Nah I'm good! Go on without me Adie. Besides I like watching the stars! I'll see you tomorrow!"

The two friends wished each other goodnight, one headed home while the other stared at the stars reflecting on the water.

"Hmm.. I wonder if humans like watching stars too?" Cuinn thought aloud, peacefully watching the North Star. It twinkled brightly in the sky as though it were greeting the Faerie child in a friendly manner.

Everything about this area felt so peaceful. Crickets chirped and water bubbled in the stream, calming and wonderful. Cuinn loved relaxing here. Though seeing a Human on the other side of this river made him enjoy it even more. Cuinn yawned and eventually fell asleep. The ground was soft and comfortable. He spent the night having pleasant dreams until morning.

In the early hours of the morning, the sun just rising over the horizon. The sound of a loud horn boomed through the forest. Cuinn woke with a start, and looked around in all directions. In a panic he flew over to that water-lily he had been hiding in when he saw the Human.

A siren was going off. Cuinn had only heard this sound twice, once when he was two and another when he was five. Too little to understand what it meant but it still scared him.

'The horn! Are we under attack?! What's happening?!' The Faerie boy had no choice but to hide in the flower. It was a great hiding spot, no one would check the water-lilies.. but that hopeful thought turned out to be wrong. A shadow appeared on the other side of the lily's petals, oh no.. they were coming closer.

"Cuinn!" Adie peered through the thin flower petals and pushed through them like a curtain.

"Adie?! What's happening why are the horns sounding?!" Cuinn immediately hugged his friend, in the panic he had almost forgotten about Adie. He was glad that his best-friend was alright.

"I'm not sure, but I heard some of the adults talking about Red Caps!" Adie hid inside the lily with the smaller Faerie, it was too dangerous to go back to the Haven now. If they're truly under attack by Red Caps then the safest thing to be doing right now would be to stay out of sight.

"Red Caps?!" Cuinn had only heard about them from scary tales often told around small fires. Those wretched monsters took delight in ravaging and ruin. Why out of all places would they come here?

"I don't know for sure! I'm too scared to go back home.. when I went to your house to see if you were there and couldn't find you, I figured you were still here so I had to see if you were okay Cuinn!"

"Thank you! I think we'll be safe in here.. Red Caps can't fly can they?" The stories the Faerie had heard didn't explain much about their appearance. What Cuinn did know however, was that they were big Goblin-like creatures that wore hats soaked in red..

"No I don't think so.. let's keep quiet just in case. I hope the soldiers can stop them.." The kingdom had a small army in case of potential threats. It wasn't very large.. but it was the best chance they had at protecting themselves. The Haven was a peaceful city and attacks rarely happened.. Cuinn hoped that they had some sort of emergency system in place, for that reason.

Somewhere in a village close to the forest. A little girl was staring out her window, watching the trees and the river. She could here the distant sound of horns coming from the direction of the woods.

"Mama why is there loud sounds coming from the trees over there?"

"I don't hear anything dear. Just your imagination, nothing lives inside the woods except for little animals and birds."

"But Mama, Grandma told me little folk live in there."

"Hush.. those are just fairytales child. Now be a good girl and help me make some lunch."

"Okay Mama.."

Nearby two Faerie children hid in a water-lily. The smell of delicious soup and baked bread made their stomachs rumble as they waited for the threat to disappear.

After seeing a Human on the other side of the river, a young Faerie flees home to safety.

Hey guys! Here's the second chapter of my introduction to the story I'm working on called "The Hidden Folk"!

I'm sorry if this story is stupid.. I worked very hard, but I ended up rushing the end. I promise that if I find any problems or mistakes in the story I will try my best to fix it..

Cuinn had to wait a long time before the girl had left. He was afraid that he'd be stuck hiding in the water lily all night! By the time she had gone it was sunset, which meant that the faerie boy had to get home quickly. The elders had advised every young faerie about the dangers of flying at night. When he got home he started to pace around the room. Cuinn didn't know what to do.

"I saw a Human! Should I tell the elders?!" The Faerie thought aloud. The elders would definitely want to know something like this.. but then again, the Human seemed harmless. She looked about as young as he is, that wouldn't make her dangerous.. right?

"Maybe I should tell Adie when he gets back tomorrow.. he might know what to do."

Adie is Cuinn's best-friend. They've been playing together since they were about nine or ten years old. Adie was originally from another Haven, but he and his family moved to Cuinn's Haven for business. Adie's family has a reputation for being exceptionally talented miners and treasure hunters. They decided to move to this particular Haven because at the time a brand new mining operation had started, and they needed miners and treasure hunters to look for precious ores and gems.

Gems are highly valued in the Faerie kingdom. They have many uses. Such as a type of currency, jewelry, enchanting, can be used in certain spells, and a means to rejuvenate a Faerie's magical abilities if exhausted.

Due to Adie's family being naturally gifted miners and treasure hunters, he was automatically assigned with the job of mining before he was born.

Cuinn couldn't wait to see him. Not only because of the helmet he created, but because of his encounter with the Human girl. The young Faerie was so excited he could barely get any sleep.

The next day Cuinn got up bright and early. The centre of the Haven was where he was supposed to be meeting Adie, luckily Cuinn lived close by and it didn't take him very long to get there. Once he arrived he looked around, even flying slightly so he could get a better view. At last he spotted his friend, Adie was at a small bakery buying snacks when he heard someone calling his name.

"ADIE!" Cuinn came running towards his friend, tackling him into a hug. They both landed on the soft ground in a fit of giggles.

"Cuinn! I missed you! Did anything cool happen while I was away?" Adie got up off the ground and dusted himself off. His clothes were already dirty though, there were specks of dust all over it. He must have helped his family in the mines before arriving here and didn't have time to change clothes.

"Nothing much.. just kidding! I have lots to tell you! Let's get to my house, I can't wait to tell you what happened yesterday!"

"YOU SAW WHAT?!" Adie shouted without thinking, he was so shocked by what Cuinn had told him he accidentally slammed his cup of tea on the table. A small vase of flowers was shaking in the centre of the table.

"Shhh! Quiet, it's supposed to be a secret!" The boy playfully covered his friend's mouth before giggling. Cuinn was happy that his best-friend was surprised by his encounter at the river. However this was a secret meant to be known only by the two of them, their special little secret.

"Sorry! I just can't believe you saw a Human! What did it look like? Was it dangerous like the elders say?!" Adie eyes seemed to sparkle with electricity. Young Faeries can use magic like adult Faeries can, but it's harder to control. Adie's family is well-known for their powers over light. Luckily Adie caught on by the funny look on Cuinn's face, and immediately dialed it down.

Cuinn laughed. It had been three weeks since they'd seen each other, he was so happy Adie was back.

"Okay, okay! So here's what it looked like.." Adie listened to Cuinn speak. Absolutely intrigued by every detail. How big the human was, whether it had fangs of not, or if it had a tail. Both of which were proven to be false by Cuinn's story. The elders didn't tell the Faerie children much about Humans and their appearances, they only told them that they looked similar to them except without wings, and are extremely huge and dangerous.

"So it was a girl? Did she see you? What was she doing?" At this point, Adie had completely abandoned his tea. Wanting to make sure he paid complete attention to the details.

"She was just sitting on the edge of the river! She wasn't scary at all Adie!" Cuinn had almost yelled while saying that. He was filled with enthusiasm, and had a bit of a habit of raising his voice when excited. Adie didn't mind it though, they both got a little loud sometimes.

"Why don't we go and see if she's there again!" The young treasure-hunting Faerie boldly stood up, his demeanour screamed for an adventure! Adie had to see what a Human looked like!

"W-What?! Like right now? What if the elders catch us?" Cuinn's hand was grabbed by his friend, who was pulling him out the door. Cuinn really enjoyed spending time with Adie, but he tended to get a little pushy sometimes. Cuinn however, preferred to go by the flow.

"It'll be fine! Don't worry about it! Even if we get caught we won't get in too much trouble." Addie insisted. Dragging Cuinn out the door. He did want to see if the Human would be there again, but it was risky.. Cuinn was lucky that he wasn't caught last time.

During the chaos of the situation he was currently in. Cuinn had completely forgotten to show Adie the helmet he made out of the giant coin he had found. Oh well.. he'd have to show it to him when they get back from the river.

Hey guys. The next chapter of my introduction to my original story "The Hidden Folk" is in progress now.

I'm off to a pretty good start as well! This chapter will introduce Cuinn's friend, his name is Adie which is Gaelic for "little fire".

Also I'm super tired so I'm going to bed now, lol. I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm working on the next chapter, and feel free to ask me any questions about the story on my new ask blog. If you send them, I'll check them out in the morning. Goodnight guys! 😄😄💤💤

What does cuinn think of the pixies?

Cuinn: "Hmm.. I don't really know much about the Pixies. I just know that the elders want us to stay away from them, They say we can't play with Pixies.. but they can't all be bad right?"

Cuinn is only twelve years old and he's kind of an optimist. Faeries have an education system and the young ones are taught by the elders who are seen as very wise and knowledgeable. Cuinn only knows as much as he's told about the Pixies, and he doesn't understand why there's tension between the Faerie kingdom and Pixie Kingdom.

Sorry if this answer isn't very good! I can try to think of a better explanation if needed. Also thanks for the question! 😄

Do the faeries have a more civilized and peaceful society than ours? And how do they do with crimes if they have any?

Cuinn: "I'm not sure how Human society works, but ours is usually very peaceful! Everyone gets along well! (Except for the the elders, they always get mad and scold us for playing too much and getting too close to the humans!) We have a monarchy, and it's rare to see Faeries commiting crimes.. though there was one person recently. I didn't know him, but he was accused of plotting treason."

Faeries tend to have very close communities. Always willing to lend a hand if their friends need help, and everyone has a specific job to do that was pre-determined before they were born. Cuinn's job is to find useful things that Humans might have left behind and see what it can be used for.

As for the crimes the people in the Faerie kingdom are naturally kind of heart, and good natured. Though some have given in to the temptation of riches and power.

At some point in the story a war will break out, and the ones who go two the evil side are seen as commiting treason. Luckily only a small few were manipulated or tempted by greed. The war is between Faeries and Pixies, which are more malevolent in nature. Despite the war happening later in the story, there is still a lot of tension between them.

Sorry if this answer is confusing! I can try to think of a better way to explain it if needed.
