Went to two events yesterday, one was a baby shower and the other a birthday party. So you can imagine how much food I ate 🙄... but this is hands down the best little meal I had all day ! I can’t remember the name of the little torta (even tho it was mention countless time)
Thanks for the invite !
Celebratory lunch 🎉
My #1 place to-go: Shogun 🍱
baked scallop sushi roll (half roll)
Seafood combination (salmon, scallops, shrimp)
It’s National Margarita Day ! 🍸
So why not have a drink/s at Medieval Times! 🏰 and enjoy the show while having a delicious feast... first on the menu was a small bowl of tomato bisque (my fave) with a slice of toasted garlic bread. Up next roasted chicken (a bit dry, but still tasty) with sweet buttered corn and herb-basted tomato. And for dessert, a slice of lemon pound cake. Can never go wrong with a dinner and a show.
Drink. Feast. Joust
Albondigas de Pollo
(Mexican chicken meatball soup)
Stepped out of my comfort zone and decided to whip up one of my favorite dishes. It’s not the same as my mum’s, but it sure was yummy 😋. I honestly didn’t think it would come out good since cooking isn’t my forte. But proved myself wrong.
Happy Mother’s Day ! 💐
Took mum out to La Bufadora Baja Grill.
Got to enjoy two fish tacos and a shrimp taco..
One of my fav !
Showed off my grilling skills!
Decided to eat in, grilled chicken along with sticky rice, steamed broccoli and corn.
My meal’s not complete without a michelada, my fave !..
I don’t drink beer much, but when it comes to micheladas, can’t say no.
