Cumbersome Dough 001

The first version of the Cumbersome Dough performance was 2 hours long, performed sitting and shown at Unga[KLARA BAR]a, Stockholm 19/9-12.

Cumbersome Dough 005

Cumbersome Dough is a slow performance where I’m standing on a pedestal like a proud statue, struggling to hold a rising dough in my arms. This is a performance about struggle, movement and change through time. I try to be static and maintain a facade of strength but my body betrays me and the long dress that I’m wearing reveals how my legs are shaking under the weight as the dough is sticking to my arms and to my clothes, weighing me down towards the floor.

Cumbersome Dough is a slow performance where I’m standing on a pedestal like a proud statue, struggling to hold a rising dough in my arms. This is a performance about struggle, movement and change through time. The second version of the Cumbersome Dough performance was 2 hours long, performed standing at PAIN (Performance art in Norrbotten) tour "HOME VISITS" 12/10-2013 Tornedalsteatern in Pajala, Sweden.
