Thank you to all at Cumbria Life magazine for including "Gonzo the Hooded Vulture" at the Lake District Wildlife Park in the October edition of this lovely magazine! And thank you to Michelle Ewen and Christian Ewen of Write on Time PR/press advisors for their amazing work achieving this media coverage! We're still fundraising to help save Africa's vultures.

The birds are being poisoned towards extinction by elephant poachers, to stop their flight paths tipping off the authorities to their illicit activities. So my share of the proceeds from all orders of my portrait of Gonzo printed on various things at:

"Gonzo the Hooded Vulture at the Lake District Wildlife Park near Bassenthwaite, Cumbria" is a very special vulture. He's a charity ambassad

will be donated to the charity (Hawk Conservancy Trust) who are providing the vultures' antidote injections which saved 84 vultures from a mass poisoning incident in the Kruger National Park a couple of months ago.

And the wonderful people at the Wildlife Park are continuing to collect for the charity throughout the year! Thank you very much to everyone who has already contributed by buying prints, raffle tickets and donating! Thanks again! Sam aka LymphomaLass xx
