I’m still recovering from the episode and can’t stop thinking about how everything could have gone differently if people hadn’t rushed so much.🥲

I really like Caine as a character. Up until episode 8, I kept thinking how cool it would be if someone just taught him to “be a human”. U now?

Not sure if Bubble’s a villain or not — I’d prefer not to guess until episode 9 drops. But for the artwork, I needed to pick a definite “villain”.

Following up on the idea: what if Pomni were put in the role of Caine’s “teacher” — in the human sense? I can imagine that over time, he would become more confused about his emotions and feelings, understand less who he really is, and would simply want to become a reckless AI again.

Meanwhile, Pomni would initially be frustrated with this role, but over time she’d grow more attached to Caine. She’d genuinely help him sort through the flood of emotions, tell him that feeling down is normal — that’s what it means to be human. Damn it! I want to make a huge comic based on this AU (or an alternative outcome, like “what if…”). But I have so little time for that. I spent two weeks drawing this simple and short comic — work and household duties really got in the way. And even then, it’s supposed to be longer

Now it’s popular to give an AU name. Could you tell me if this is necessary? Something like “The Return of Abel”. I would like to combine these two AUs — the one in which Abel returns and the one in which Caine tries to learn (not without Pomni’s help) to be human.
