flew to another continent for the first time in two years—but to tell you it was not easy would be a massive understatement WTF let’s just say i’ve had a rather busy and stressful month leading up to my first visit to the emerald isle 🇮🇪 applying to be able to travel to dublin has been the most challenging process i’ve encountered in my entire history of visa applications thanks to my third world passport UGH from sending them all my passport pages and original documents certifying i won’t be an illegal immigrant in their country, they held their approval literally down to the wire, so much so that i had to take a flight to ottawa the morning of my supposed flight date to claim my passport at the embassy of ireland IRL you can just imagine the look on the embassy peeps’ faces when they saw me knocking at their window demanding an update 😂 let’s just say my crazy bet to travel all day just to get to our global offsite the next day paid off LOL there’s always a first time for everything! the laughs and learnings along with all the amazing experiences i’ve shared with my own team along with our broader team of global subject matter experts, some of whom i met for the first time ever, has made the rather thorny ordeal worth it. if there’s anything this endeavor has reinforced—it’s the fact that the words ‘no’ or ‘impossible’ barely exist in my reality. on the flipside, they serve as a challenge for me to commit to overcome whatever hurdle i might be facing, whether i’m blessed by the luck of the irish this time around—or most of the time not—i am bound to prove any form of adversity i face totally surmountable, even enjoyable along the way 🍀 but jokes aside, i hope to take break from these visa applications for a while! #notavacation #bytedancebelle #lifeattiktok #lifeinPR #curacha #thirdworldproblems #latergram (at Dublin, Ireland) https://www.instagram.com/p/CiG91iZOjYHmaZb1xSago2a6XH-vi5wgMdYjB40/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
