Stealth Advertising
Products everywhere. It can take control of everything we need and we just want to get for our satisfaction. How do we get these products? We usually see them in commercials and ads, it gives truthful or wrong information about a certain product. Stealth advertising is a method use for advertising a product to a consumer who is not aware of being subjected to advertising. There other ways of advertising which is only sticking around the bushes. Hiding within the eyes of population media they don't see advertisement hiding on television sets, billboards and by communication. One of the examples is product placement. Used in the film industry product placement is a common case of stealth advertising, product placement has been a marketing strategy ever since the golden age of hollywood. Movies are filled with actors holding a can of Coca-Cola or a box of Papa John's pizza in front of the cameras showing to the audience. Stealth advertising uses movies and actors as cover for them to increase their sales from the population media. Movies such as Transformers, Back to the future, Wayne's world, castaway and other movies has a frame of a product being held by actor and being shown in the picture. You can always see your favorite action star in films running with his/her Nike shoes. Once when the action stops he/she takes a time to sip a of can Coca-Cola and eats a slice of pizza from Papa John's or pizza hut just don't forget about the city, the film may also be promoting the cities tourist attraction for visitors. From other products like Apple and Samsung movies use these method to thank their sponsor and of course advertise their products. Film makers includes this stealth advertising to endorse the product or company that helped them make their film possible. Wayne's world a big screen spin off script from Saturday Night Live shown lots of products in just one segment of a scene the movie. Actor Mike Myers plays as Wayne Campbell ("I will not bow to any sponsor" - Wayne) be seen with a slice of Pizza (Pizza hut), Doritos and Pepsi and other kinds of products. Wilssonnn- Chuck Back to the future is one of my favorite movies of all time and it all about time travel. In 1985 Marty and Doc has been friend for years. In the experiment of Doc you can see him made a Time machine out of a DeLorean. In the future 2015 it was also possible for a Nike shoe to be self lace. Transformers by Michael Bay you can see explosions but you can also see tons of products. It promotes their products and the the movie that they are providing for. But take note only the company gets benefit for these types of advertisements they use these types to endorse their company.
