Well our weekend is going rather well considering it was a bit of a guessing game with this fire place install. Step 1 - breaking open the existing hole and cleaning it out. (The fireplace we had wasn’t going to fit so...) Step 2 - make the hole bigger! (What a success that was!) Step 3 -clean out the existing flue. Lucky we didn’t light the fire not knowing what was up there! Would have been a slight mess! 😂 Step 3 - paint old fireplace I was given. Step 4 - install fire into the fresh new spot! There’s still a bit of work to do but I’m over the moon of how well it has all come together!! A big Thankyou to the boys Dad and @girdler.338 and Mum for their hard work over the last couple days and for the work that still needs to be done!!
