My grandma gives me lots of random things. Somethings are things like snacks (classic grandma stuff) or clothing or something fairly normal.
Sometimes the things I get are cursed.
Like the broken roman candle I just found in my room 2 hours ago that is a creepy clown that says ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’ at the top of the candle. It’s broken in half right below the clown’s eyes, but both halves are still connected by the wick, and I cannot explain why it makes this candle more cursed than it was before it was broken - a state I’ve never seen it in, as I received it broken. there’s ‘lace’ on the clown’s hat rim and neck ruffle that’s like that drop lace cake icing design. The clown has a big red nose that is a molded ball of red wax smooshed onto the side of the candle that is the first thing after the break on the bottom half of the candle. Despite the fact that the clown has button’s on it’s outfit, there are no clay balls to show it, just the ‘printed’ design on the candle.
I know why it was given to me. I refuse to use it for that purpose. It’s too cursed for that, but also nothing I can do with it will make it’s existence better. Only more cursed. And that is something I am afraid of.
He sleeps in a shoe box in my room with other broken roman candles in a sandwich bag though he is the only one of His Kind. Sometimes I remember he is there, but every time I open the box, I am never ready to encounter him. I have never given him a name before, so I guess (since it’s already a part of his being) his name will be HAPPY BIRTHDAY The Candle Clown. I guess the way you take care of this kind of clown is to find a nice, safe, dark, small, enclosed space and leave them be. This kind of clown is a cross with a candle, so consider giving them candle-buddies to hibernate with. Do not keep your Candle Clown in hot spaces, as they prefer cool spaces. This prevents them from melting prematurely. Do not feed this type of clown for they need no sustenance.
Do you all like clowns? I've seen some conflicting opinions on them and I was just wondering if the general opinion is clowns = good and not clowns = scary as I was used to. Clowns really aren't scary; I mean, people eat goat meat and those creatures will absolutely destroy you. Just be sure to hire clowns from ethical places and prepare them for your party properly. There are lots of recipes online for serving clown, and it's important that you use proper cooking techniques.
