Rex's cursed half form

Unlike Emmet, Rex has full control in this form.

"Curse" twists your mind, but how can you twist something, that already was twisted?

You can't. And that's why Rex is the only one who can keep this "curse" at bay. At least as long as he feels stable.

Unlike Emmet, "Rex's" body more stable to changes from the curse.

He can choose which, let's say, form his body will take. More lego like, like on the art, or almost fully black shapeshifter, like Emmet's.

The prints on his body, just a side effects of "curse" still trying to take control, but failing.

Hair becoming messy, as the eyes being cat-like eyes, are also a side effect. But more like possitive side effect.

His "new" eyes are more used to see things far away and in total darkness, catching every movement of his "prey"

And his messy hair is some sort of spikes, they're not as sharp as Benjamin's, but pretty much enough, to win some time and run away if needed.

As the art says, his tongue can split into two, it's another side effect from the fact, that there's two souls trapped in one body.

The same goes for teeth, the angryer you get, the more and more sharp they'll become.

The mouth and other details are pretty the same as Emmet's cursed form, except for his dino-like legs.

"Curse" usually takes form of persons inner spirit. For Rex it's dinosaur, which means that his anatomy will become more dino-like.

But Emmet, unlike Rex, has more than one, which means that his anatomy will be nothing, but always changing form black thing.

Well that's it for now! At least, that's all what i thought about.

Well now knowing that the Owl Beast is likely based on a Strzyga combined with how Eda and Lilith sometimes go to pieces explains why there isn't a known cure; they are undead and you can't simply heal undeath. No wonder the healing coven doesn't know what to do, they don't deal in necromancy or divine purification!

Dusk lifted himself off of Steam and back onto his own feet, then surveyed the badger appraisingly.  The odds of Steam managing to get himself over to the Learning-To-Walk group were… rather small.

“...Would you mind if I carried you?”

“Please,” Steam said gratefully.
