It had been a beautiful evening. The sun had set magnificently, staining the sky a bright red color.
“Isn’t it wonderful… huh?” He moved closer to his twin as they sat on the blanket, it was getting colder now, not that he wanted to leave and go home, he just needed some extra warmth. He shuffled over and wrapped his arms around his twin’s waist, turning to lay his head in his lap.
“You seem agitated,” his double said, pushing a strand of hair away from his eyes. He shook his head, “That’s not really it,” The truth was. He had hoped that tonight, was the night, he would finally get to kiss him, those lips, that cheeky smile, he wanted tonight to be the one, the perfect moment, but as he looked out across the landscape and saw the sky turn darker, he felt like, that perfect burning moment had gone. He sighed and just snuggled against his lap.
They lay silently for a few minutes, just embracing the view when he decided, fuck it, he would do it. He moved up, his eyes closed, hoping to catch those lips with his, but something wasn’t right. he felt his nose bump against something and he opened his eyes, his lips pressed against his twin’s cheek.

He heard his twin chuckle, “You’re just as eager as I am, maybe next time, you’ll reach your goal.” He was so smug the bastard. The Uchiha rolled off him and huffed.
“Hey! Don’t pout, maybe next time… I won’t move… make it easy for you… amateur.” He just rolled his eyes at his jack ass self as he was tugged back onto his lap, arms wrapping round him as they continued to gaze at the night sky.

“Sasuke? God, kid, I know you’re a teenager and you’ve got all those weird hormones rushin’ round your system, y’know… explorin’ your sexuality and all that but… uh… I’m gonna have to pass. Can’t you just accidentally make out with Naruto like you usually do?"

“I left you, again. And waited for you. The day has come and reckoned. My end neared closer. We fought, brother against brother for the sanctity of our clan. That was what was in your thoughts during that fight, but mine… was of the contrary.”
“You improved well, Sasuke. You truly are my brother. And I love you.”
“I thought…”
“… that was the last time.”
“But a lot has happened and fate has brought me back in this cruel world. I fought with your rival, Sasuke and it seems your friend Naruto was determined to bring you back no matter what. I entrusted him to you… long ago.”
“And the surprises life brings you. A burst of nostalgia erupted in my heart as we fought alongside. It reminded me of that boar mission we went together. You failed in the strategy, but now you and I were in perfect sync. Using that same strategy we were the victors. You have progressed immensely, Sasuke.”
“Only then I realized, that I have brought you some much pain. If you were younger, you’d probably throw another tantrum. You probably hated me and ignored me for awhile. Now, your reactions to situations are still immature. But even if you hated me, I love you.”
“You don’t have to forgive me, Sasuke. No matter what you decide, from now on, I will always love you.”
“Sasuke… I am glad to have been your brother. The truth is still in the darkness, you’ll see it too one day. Until then, this is the last time. I await to see you here, with our clan. Mother and Father, we await you. Even if it means we’ll have to wait awhile, that’s alright. We will always love you, Sasuke.”

☮: A peck on your forehead.
To his relief, this one wasn’t so bad. A kiss on the forehead was something that he could do and not feel too uncomfortable about it. Especially with Sasuke, man how much more awkward could it get?
“All right Sasuke, bear with me for a second, all right?”
Since the raven was already standing close enough to him, he only had to make a simple movement, to lean in and that’s what he did. It ended as quick as it happened, a smile forming on his face as he stood there.
