WORLD OF TECH - OPEN DAY

Under the theme, ‘Think. Imagine. Create’ Cuso International has partnered with local civil society and government organizations across Kingston to support local beneficiaries. In collaboration with its local partners and stakeholders, Cuso has coined World of Tech Day which aims to organize and engage, empower and inspire Jamaican high school students with the knowledge to explore the rapidly growing field of technology and innovation.

My FAVORITE things about Cuso International

1) Skilled volunteers are placed with LOCAL NGOs- not Canadian NGOs, local NGOs.  This is better since local NGOs know whats going on and should be in charge of coming up with their own solutions 2) Cuso International doesn’t just support Canadian volunteers.  They also support volunteers from the Global South.  This means, knowledge and skills are being shared in many directions 3) Volunteers are supported!  Financially, administratively, and professionally.   4) Lastly, Cuso International supports good work.
