She showed me Teen Wolf custom tea blends.

I need them all.

I DON'T EVEN DRINK TEA.

From checking out the site one of the Derek Hale teas is Apple Pie flavoured. There is a Sterek tea. Also alot of the teen wolf teas have Gunpowder in them. It must be safe to drink cause its a legit tea site, but it's so weird.

Also they are displayed in little art box tins for the sample sizes. I hope they actually come in tins with the art cause it would be cute to collect.

Time for Tea 

Because it’s finally September, and autumn is creeping up on us, I’ve been really excited to snuggle up with my favourite tea. Also, I just spent ages making up tea blends for Ava’s Demon (@avasdemon) characters and wanted an excuse to post them. (Pedri’s is my favourite. It’s based on a classic Russian Caravan blend that I love!) 

Custom blends under the cut! 

Ava:

Warming, relaxed, and a little smoky

Smoked Oolong base + Cinnamon and Vanilla 

Odin:

Deep, flowery, and smoked 

Smoked, Black Tea base + Aniseed, Clove, Cornflower blossom, Thistle blossom and Orange peel

Maggie:

Punchy and caffeinated, strong 

Gunpowder Green Tea base + Ginger and Aniseed

Gil:

Light, airy and refreshing, with low caffeine 

White Tea base (Pai Mu Tan) + Peppermint oil 

Wrathia:

Spicy, smoky and a little bitchy 

Pine-smoked, Red Tea base + Cinnamon, Cloves and Brandy

Pedri:

Smoky, strong and relaxing

Mixed Oolong and Black Tea base + Cloves, Cardamom and Vanilla

Last year I made a custom tea blend that I perfected until I was happy with, then spent a lot of time trying to run Krita on a very underpowered hand me down Chromebook to make custom labeling for it.

The other day I decided to treat myself since it's almost my birthday and ordered a big tin of my custom tea, because it's become one of my favorite teas to drink in the morning or when I feel shitty.

I did a ton of research as to what exactly Elfroot was supposed to taste like in Thedas, especially after giving Vaelyn backstory that involved her Dalish mom making her tea as a kid that had Elfroot in it. This final version is my best guess at what that blend would taste like, and I've been enjoying it for awhile now.

The big tin arrived today, and I'm so happy.

I've since created other blends for some of my characters, but this one holds a special place in my heart. It's honestly just a damn good tea.

(It's a blend of Black, Green Rooibos, and herbal teas, with Spearmint and Marigold Petals added as well.)
