Looking to get some more of that epic low-tide reef action this summer, I dug out these wetsuit slippers I haven't used in years. They still call 'em "booties" from when, I'll assume, surfing borrowed the technology from the diving community. Thing is though every time I've had booties since I was very young my big toe always feels crowded inside. Then I remember why I end up not using them and packing them away. Am I just a freak?
