Just finished the first season of Witch Hat Atelier and it was so cute! Great art and story

Reminds me a lot of Harry Potter in all the best ways, a great alternative if you're looking to feel those feels again or are wanting something to show to kids!

we recently watched moonrise kingdom and now it was time for the grand Budapest hotel. another of my favorite Wes Anderson movies 💕

first of my repeat watches this week - masters of the universe (2026). i went to see this last week and the opportunity presented itself to go rewatch it this week and i figured why not! not a mind blowing movie, but entertaining enough to rewatch. i even liked it a smidge more on a rewatch 💕

after watching masters of the universe (2026) at the movie theater, we came home and watched masters of the universe (1987). this definitely has different vibes and a lower budget. they’re both fun in their own ways. evil-Lyn steals the show in both movies! what a diva!

next up is little Amelie or the character of the rain. such a beautiful movie. the animation is interesting and colorful. the movie starts off a little weird, but it’s definitely worth it to stick with it. i had to rewatch it before i returned it to the library. it’s the sweet story of a Belgian family living in japan

and finally we finished up Miss Kobayashi’s dragon maid season 2. this is a fun, silly anime about a women who inadvertently invites a bunch of dragons to live with her - but they do take the shape of humans, however they don’t fully know how the human world works
