No you’re totally right, it’s because North was badly injured and had no AI.

Carolina was quite clearly injured/roughed up quite a bit in her fight with Sharkface, as we see Wash having to help her up and she spends Sharkface’s monologue on the ground instead of trying to get up to prepare for more of a fight.

Additionally, she has a failing fragment of a full AI. Depending on how much power Epsilon used in the fight, that could be almost as bad as no AI.

yeah I was rewatching rvb and it listed grif as geoff fink so I googled it and learned something new. his middle name also was paul, but he changed it to lazer as a joke because the court said it wouldn't cost any extra to change another name
