Sherman gave a start when his phone chimed, grabbing it off his desktop. His eyes brightened at the response, an eager smile spreading across his face as his heart gave an excited little flutter. A date? He wondered, did Caleb mean that? Or was he just using it as a figure of speech? He answered quickly:

🌼👁️‍🗨️} An unfamiliar scent caught the attention of something within the forest… And that something was soon enough moving towards the source of that unfamiliar scent-- A few trees swayed and their leaves rustled as the yet unseen being moved past them, smaller plants rustling, before soon enough… A large, dark form emerged from the forest.

It certainly wasn't anything like a large cat, even if some parts bore resemblance to one… But just what the beast was, wasn't clear either. Caught with passing aspects of something human, but also not…

Slowly, Asato moved closer-- creeping like a feline either being cautious in it's approach, or as though stalking prey… even though he'd already been seen. Deep blue eyes were trained on the other's form, much smaller than his own, but most notably… Not that of a cat. But, the small male clearly wasn't a devil either…

A curious sound rumbled from within the beast's chest, and once close enough, he stopped-- Still crouched low, he leaned closer to the small male, and sniffed… Before he could put much thought into inspecting this stranger, however-- Asato found the other's hand upon his muzzle. Blue eyes widened and another sound rumbled from the beast-- seemingly in surprise, as that massive form tensed up slightly.

What should he do?-- The first impulse that struck was to snap his jaws-- but no, that was bad. He didn't want to do that… Instead, Asato forced himself to stay calm-- Massive form lowering further until he was somewhat laying in the grass. If the other wanted to touch him, then maybe that was okay…
