I feel like a siren would really fit venti,

- in some mythology sirens are presented as more bird like creatures which links to venti beings the god anemo the wind element/ as well as him originally being a wind spirit

-sirens tend to appear as their ‘victims’ biggest desire (e.g your perfect type) which links to manipulation, aswell as shapeshifting which venti has technically done (wind spirit -> dead friend/human)

-sirens are aligned with music since they hypnotises humans with their angelic songs and promises which fits since venti is bard

-sirens are something that appears beautiful, innocent, pure while in reality are quite darker and sinister which I think really suits most Yandere venti portrayals of the almost farcade of nativity and purity

-you could also argue sirens are half animal therefore wild therefore free but I think that’s a bit of a stretch

I don't want to be redundant by saying it over and over again, but I truly believe that venti is a yandere who preys upon you primarily by indirectly forcing your will. it goes against his code to directly impose upon your freedom by making you fall in love with him, but there's nothing wrong with nudging you in the right direction, right? however, what he can plausibly play off as just a little nudge is seriously dubious. so if you simply cannot get him out of your head after hearing that angelic voice of his, who is he to reject you? it's not exactly his fault if you fall more and more under his spell day by day, you're the one constantly seeking out his hypnotizing enchanting melodies.

I also think about him taking the form of the nameless bard a lot... what if venti were to take the form of your old lover? one day you're walking though the woods only to hear the most beautiful song you have ever heard, following the sound to find none other than... a man the absolute striking image of the one who you had lost. UGH!!!!!

“It's been a couple weeks since you've been in.” Dr Harper says pulling out his clipboard and looking it over.  “Any reason, in particular, you've been skipping our sessions?” 

You grip the hem of your shirt shifting slightly on the paper-lined table and continue to stare at the ground. Any kind of excuse you could give him would only lead to more questions about what you get up to when you leave his office. And you've been very careful with what you say to him to make sure you don't end up hospitalized in the woods. 

“It's alright. We can get right into the therapy if you would prefer-” he places his clipboard down grabbing his pen from the breast pocket of his coat. Before tapping you on the knee gently. 

“I'm gonna need your focus for this.” he grabs your chin tilting it up slightly so you can clearly see his face and more importantly the pen that he's holding in front of it. 

“Let's start out with simple questions. Describe your emotional state from 1-10. 10 being the most stable.” 

“About a 5,” you mumble out keeping your eyes focused on the pen. 

“What about your physical state?” 

“About a 5.” 

Harper pouts but he doesn't waver keeping a steady pace with the questions “How about your home life? Any changes?” 

“No change-” You can feel his hand drifting up your thigh a bit but you keep your focus on the pen. 

“How about your sexual health? Any changes?” your head feels a little fuzzy and suddenly you're not sure, you're compelled to tell the truth but you can't recall what the truth is… has your sex life been more active? Or did you stop all relationships for some reason? Your mouth feels like it's full of cotton, and you're still fixated on Harper- 

“Let's skip that question- why don't we get to your favorite part of our sessions?” he seems to be in a better mood as he leans forward to kiss you gently. 

“I like you better like this- don’t you?” 

“Sorry? What was the question?” you ask, snapping out of your haze. “I said our session is done- you can gather your items and go if you have nothing else to talk about.” Harper says, smiling. You nod and get up gathering your stuff and heading to the door racking your brain for the details you must have disclosed to the doctor. 

Harper opens the door for you as you leave. 

“Be well,” he says in his signature way as you leave the office and walk onto Nightingale Street and feel a slight chill. That's weird. You could have sworn you put on underwear today…
