I will be using your star template to make stars of radqueer flags, idgaf if you drew the star it's literally just a shape and can't be copyrighted
Okay? I think you're a lazy piece of shit and should draw your own star instead of bumming off my work.
Do you feel righteous? Do you feel entitled to me making stars for you? Are you so bad at drawing you can't even draw a star? So uncreative you have to use mine as a template and can't even choose your own shape?
This is just showing how pathetic you radqueers are, you need the validation of me being so so angry at you but I don't care, you're just lazy and worthless.
Radqueers are an amalgamation of multiple different and often concerning pro-stances being forced into being somehow "queer." (using the recent times meaning of it, which being not peri-cishet-allo etc etc) No one is radqueer unless they themselves call themself that. You can support certain things they support, but the difference is that they have no limits on when its too supportive.
coming from an ex-radqueer, this identity is so helpful, for what "radqueer identities", especially on the more harmful side, were trying to get across.
i imagine you wouldn't want harmful identities to be coined as associds, just a thought i had. something i noticed is that radqueers have a conservative mindset, of not wanting to shift their language, to the point of saying "transid isn't what you REALLY are, just what you identify as" and THAT'S largely where i think this comes in, as a better alternative to what they think they're doing.
idk if this is too discourse-y of a discussing for the blog, but it might be worth stating a mild boundary of "don't coin harmful or radqueer identities" from this instead of going deep into discourse, if that's something you would wanna do instead. no pressure to respond about/to the radqueer stuff.
really glad you can find a safe space and alternative term :)
rest of reply under cut, possible discourse cw
while made for more lighthearted associations, we dont personally mind slightly more sensitive subjects being coined as associds, we'll cw them as such for archival purposes though
we do have a hard boundary on anything relating to bigotry or real life harm / hatred, which we will not repost and do not want to be associated with, but we'll handle that if push comes to shove
associds are inheritely a lot lighter than other similar terms, less serious connotations and all that. having darker interests like horror and the like can definitely lead to someone wanting to id with like... associ-murder(er). which is way lighter of a term than a radqueer (+ adjacent) label, which is where our leniance comes from if people want to identify that way and coin those terms
i guess those harmful labels are on a scale. our limit would be when you hit -hateful or any form of abuse. we dont want that. kind of turning into a ramble at this point
anon if i completely misunderstood your point or want to follow up shoot me a message (npder)! i do want to keep this off of the blog but no harm done with this ask, both mods liked hearing a perspective like this :) really cool to see
Okay. I genuinely want a respectful TransID person to reblog this or send me an ask (preferably off anon so we could hold a conversation using reblogs)
I'm very interested in knowing why you see TransIDs as not harmful and your opinions on them.
This is coming from a person who has been in several uncomfortable interactions with transnazis, transharmful, and several other transIDs.
I genuinely want to understand, and I'm posting this with an open mind, because I do want to try and understand your perspective here, too.
I've seen a LOT of anti TransID stances and explanations and such, but I think it's unfair to take a stance when I have no idea what the other side is saying. I learned that with the plural community in the context of endogenic systems.
So please, any TransID person that's willing to be respectful and calm for the entire conversation and willing to help me understand your side too, my ask box and the reblogs of this post are open, please tell me!
This user thinks that the age of consent should be abolished, and that children of any age should be allowed to be in sexual relationships with adults and thinks you can’t be youth lib if you disagree with this. Everyone with a brain knows that, yes, pubescent minors can consent, TO EACH OTHER.
There’s nothing wrong with teenagers having sex, but it’s not healthy for them mentally, to engage in sexual relationship with grown ass adults even if it’s “consensual” as the consent that teenagers give to adults is usually the result of prior grooming (I should know because that happened with me) and there’s countless reliable studies and victim word of mouth recounts proving this.
Children can’t consent to adults, simple as that and hope that “AAM” radqueers realise this and get help.
This account also thinks that “cracker” is just as bad as a slur for white people as the n-word is for black people even though cracker doesn’t have the horrible history behind it like the n-word does, so yeah there’s that…
WHERE THE FUCK IS THE BOOST[X]/BOOSTID FLAG TEMPLATE, I CANNOT FIND IT ANYWHERE. ALL I CAN FIND ARE THE FUCKASS RADSHIT VERSIONS OF IT AND IT'S PISSING ME OFF. DOES ANYONE EVEN HAVE IT AT THIS POINT???
