hope this isn't a dumb question but i was wondering if you could elaborate on what exactly musicians would collab with complex for? i have a musician muse in mind sorta but i'm confused on how to integrate them with the magazine???
hey! not at all bbe~ i used “collabs” for that page as a sort of umbrella term (also because lol i was trying to name it) but basically any artist featured in COMPLEX would’ve most likely had an interview with the mag. you can always go deeper and make some type of collaboration (COMPLEX x the musician x an art/ fashion show) if you’d like to. as long as they’ve been featured and/or collab’d with the mag for at least one project it’s all fair game seeing as apart from the magazine, we are slice-of-life! hope i didn’t confuse you any further…. thanks for the question!
how many issues of complex have come out slash is it an annual/bimonthly/weekly/?? publication or does it take advantage of its online platform and take on more of a blog style with a couple posts made every day?
look @ u nonnie asking the hard-hitting questions haha~ since the HQ was founded in 2010 there have been about 84~ issues as they come out on a monthly basis. there may be more content that comes out monthly on their youtube channel (think: i-D’s youtube channel), but that would be once a week at most. hope this answered your question!
