Too bad you’re not in Vancouver. I definitely think watching horror movies on that day is a good idea, and as I’m allergic to chocolate you could have it all.

More and more I'm starting to think I should just find a nice quiet spot and run a livestream or something so we can all have a horror-movie-viewing and junk-food-of-choice-eating Valentine's Day party together.

Again thanks: might have to use my pc and not my mac, which has weird external connectors: can run a hdmi cable from the pc to the tv. Must try this.

I actually don't know; I'm a bit of a Luddite and haven't kept up with technology. My roommate has a Wii and we use Netflix through that. However, I think there's a cable you can get to hook your computer up to a TV. (Don't take my word for it; it may just be wishful thinking on my part.)

Not at ALL. Netflix is glorious and wonderful and I love it. It just has a smaller selection here than in the States, which can be annoying when you're looking for that one movie that can't be found in any rental stores and everybody SAYS is on Netflix but you just. can't. find. it.

Also, Netflix Canada doesn't have the deal with Disney to show their animated movies. So that's mildly disappointing.

But it's actually a really good investment if, like me, you like a bunch of mildly obscure movies or want to catch up on recent TV shows or wax nostalgic over ones that aired on YTV in 1996.

However one feels about the movies the soundtracks are good; I use them to catch up with contemporary alt/indie music and have made some great discoveries.

They are. The soundtracks are just pure gold every time, and I don't know how they manage it.

I looked up the music coordinator once but I can't remember who it was. :P
