CyberSwap Gaster redesign. (for fun lol)
Late night Cyberswap Gaster facial redesign.
Still not sure if this will be official tho. I might stick with his older design. I was just bored tonight.
∠( ᐛ 」∠)_ CyberSwap!Papyrus by @cybertale-0 i really like to draw cybertale characters
Wait, so let me see if I got this right: Gaster has a soul core, and that's the stuff that powers him and stuff. Sans and Papyrus both have soul cores that are clones of Gaster's (I'm asuming also for power reasons). Gaster doesn't have an actual soul, so he can't feel feelings (grillster anon still feels sorry for sad flame). But since Sans and Papyrus can feel (or at least it looks like they can), they DO have souls? Like, real souls? (Is this spoilers? I feel like this could be spoilers...)
Nope. It isn’t a spoiler cause it is incorrect. ^^
First of, let me actually explain what a soul core is.
A soul core is basically a generator built of the foundation of a shattered monster’s soul. it is held together by iron pins infused with determination. This soul (or I guess zombie soul) has no sentience. Think of it like a an organ, such as your liver or kidney. It’s function is to conduct magic. Gaster can use both magic and determination to power his suits and weaponry
Gaster, can freely remove his soul core whenever he wants to. His Sense of self exists in his positronic brain. (Gaster cannot transform or manifest weapons when it is detached.)
This also applies to Sans and Papyrus.
Don’t think that just because they Seem to feel means hey have souls.
There is another who seems to feel as well…
Anyways,
In order for a soul to be yours, you have to be able to die when it is destroyed. Because a soul core does not act as a soul, Sans and Papyrus would still be alive if their’s were to be destroyed.
Hmm… I hope this isn’t too confusing.
Oh also! There is One other thing that I need to mention that is going to be tricky to portray without them getting the wrong idea so I’ll try and explain it here to.
The soul cores where construct from remnants of deceased monsters. Gaster has almost a symbiotic relationship with his core. On occasion, Gaster’s positonic brain will pick up these signals and start projecting them. Start feeling.
This is a bad thing.
Why? Cause he will become a psychopath.
CyberHorror is a scenario where Gaster synthesizes with his core. Feeling the full spectrum of emotions, but only producing pleasure and joy in slaughtering the inoccence.
Cybertale Gaster knows this. That is why he must not only pay close attention to himself, but also to his sons. Monitor them so that they do not fuse to their cores and develop psychopathic tendencies. If so, Gaster will have no choice but to destroy them to protect the Cybergrounds.
So in a way you could also say their soul cores are..
Parasites.
Late night Drawing of CyberSwap Sans.
So I did another draw the squad but I think I failed this one lol. The character’s on the base are clearly expressive but I drew all my Gaster’s young. :P whoops. At least Swap is trying to emote. XD
I fused Cybertale and Cyberswap Gaster to get the ultimate synthetic creature.
“Hey! I think you’re getting better!”
Cyberfell Sans is slowly trying to regenerate.
