1 – Brittani’s Landfill Couture Shot

While I probably would not have crowned Brittani myself (though to be honest I’ve never really known who I would crown for sure out of this cycle), this photo really makes me understand why they made that choice. She was professional, had a walk, and had the potential to produce pieces of art like this. It may be her only shot in my top 10, but it is still my clear favourite. Gorgeous body, radiant face, paired with one of the strongest concept and execution that ANTM has provided. Perfection.

2 – Molly’s Camel Shot

This has risen significantly since the last time I ranked, and I seriously did consider it for the top spot this list. Molly has given a masterclass in modelling here. It is perfectly posed to display everything she is wearing, in a casual theme appropriate manner. Molly was one of the most consistent models we have ever seen on this show, but her last few weeks were a new level of brilliance. The fact three of her last four shots made it in my top 10 will probably remain a record, something just sparked in her once that horrid weave was removed, and this felt like a culmination of perfection. I am still in love with this to this day, even if there is one photo I slightly prefer.

3 – Hannah’s Love Story Shot

Hannah had a lot of strong photos, but this was her climax; she made sure if she was going out, she was going out strong. This is facial perfection for me, there is something strong and serene about the beauty shot. The intensity she serves while not looking at the camera is gorgeous, almost hypnotic for me. This photo is so over the top, but it just works for the scene. This shoot was another incredible one, Marrakech may not have been the most fashion-relevant overseas destination, but the shoots there were sensational.

4 – Monique’s Bee Shot

All of Monique’s potential came to fruition in this photograph. This alone is the reason I’d probably have her overseas in my ideal season. With this and her first shot, she gave us more versatility in two shoots that some contestants give all season. Gone is the round cheeks and soft jawline; this is angled, this is harsh, this is your upscale luxury avant-garde villain. Another shot where the model, the styling and the concept all blend together harmoniously to produce art.

5 – Hannah’s Faux Fur Shot

A lot of models let the concept overwhelm them, but Hannah was not one of them. This was leagues ahead of anything else produced, and the moment Hannah really established herself for me as a threat. There are few peoples who could steal the show from the jaguar. My eyes are only for her in this photograph.

6 – Hannah’s Camel Shot

I was a huge fan of this photoshoot, with all but one shot making my top 20. This is just the exact type of spread I see being featured in Vogue Italia, and Hannah is one of the shots I’d be drawn to first. I love the natural, authentic and simplistic vibe. It shows you don’t have to be over-the-top to be a model, sometimes a smouldering stare captures attention just as much as standing on the back of a camel (though still love the shots who did that). Hannah had a sensational portfolio, and this is just the first of her many shots on this list.

7 – Molly’s Love Story Shots

Both of these shots are going in this spot, as both would probably be in my top 20 individually anyways. The paired shot is my favourite though, but the two work so well together. They give the love story fantasy that the brief asked for. There is passion, romance, energy, all wrapped up with beautiful fashion. The colours are also so aesthetically pleasing, that soft pale blue with that gold…divine.

8 – Molly’s Covergirl Shot

As I said before, this is too good for Covergirl. This was a winning photograph, and it is sad that it was the second cycle in a row where the far superior Covergirl shot lost. Still, Molly will forever have this stellar showing. It is commercial without being dreary or cheery, it is sensual and seductive. A perfect make-up ad.
