1.Jaslene
I gotta admit, I didn’t expect this from Jaslene. She was always a bit over the top as a person but this is just so relaxed and effortless. She commands this shot with ease, she looks masculine and handsome and by far the most fashionable of the bunch. Natasha’s on set performance was great but Jaslene was robbed of a FCO for this. Great job Jaslene!
2. Natasha
I think this was the moment Natasha truly came alive and became a front runner for the judges. Her hip hop persona is totally cool. She really went for it with the grab of the crotch and the look in her eyes is very bad boy. She did a great job on set and so I understand why they gave her FCO but I still think there’s one shot that was better. Great job on Natasha’s part for this photo though.
3.Sarah
Sarah is lucky she got to see her frames because her photo turned out pretty well. She has this almost glazed look but not dead and her body is well relaxed. She looks cool actually and the clothes look nice. It’s a little boring compared to the top 2 but overall it’s one of the better shots this week.
4. Renee
This is another good but not great shot. I gotta give it to runway for showing the outfit pretty well and also looking very strong. Her jaw has a bit too much tension though. She also looks shorter than usual for some reason. Still, the flaws are more minor than major and so this is where I think she places.
5. Dionne
For having one of the most boring outfits, Dionne did well. She pulled at that tough exterior and spread out body with confidence. I just wish she hadn’t puckered her lips that much. Even without touching I do think she created a connection to her fellow model so that’s also good. She did an alright job, just not 2nd callout worthy.
6. Jael
This is a bit over the top but Jael is bringing a fun character to an otherwise joke of a shoot so I’’ give her praise for that. I agreed with Diana’s comment at the shoot saying Jael kind of looked like a crackhead but at least she’s a cute one lol. I just wish she had relaxed her legs more. The face is decent and it’s quirky so that got her by this week.
7. Brittany
I have been totally behind the praise for Brittany thus far but this is not a good photo. The clothes did all the work for her. Also, she’s sitting and is thus more relaxed than those standing. She pulled off the guy thing and she doesn’t look too bad but her lack of facial expression and overall lack of spark brought her down this week.
8. Whitney
Although I think Whitney looks ugly as a guy, she at least pulled off the vibe with her pose. Her expression is still lacking though. In addition, she didn’t show her clothes or made any connection with her fellow model. It’s lackluster and I honestly would have just double eliminated her and Diana at this point. That way we could have just avoided the need for next week’s shoot lol.
