Fieryblack Shiner Cyprinella pyrrhomelas
A minnow native to the US states of North and South Carolina. During breeding season, males' snouts turn bright red, their backs turn blue, the caudal fin is marked with a bright red and white band, and all other fins turn white. Males have been observed circling each other with fins flared in a territorial display.

For what it's worth, a therapy dog isn't a service dog (which you said at the beginning but then used therapy later). They're actually pretty different things with different legal statuses and public access.
Good catch, and thank you for letting me know! I’ve made a note to do some proper research before I write those pieces.

NGL, I actually like RQG better than TMA. Like, I’ve listened to the whole RQG run 3 times in 3 months, TMA 2x in 8. It’s funnier and more hopeful but Alex still brings the pain. I can’t compare to other actual plays since I’ve never listened to one.
For my money...
I liked TAZ. I still think “The Eleventh Hour” arc of TAZ: Balance is just some jawdroppingly incredible game setting, and the music fucking bangs all day and night, but I p much cannot listen to the first three arcs (sorry I DON’T LIKE Petals to the Metal), but them then on its a good show if you’re into a much more plotted route.
I fear I like the music of TAZ more than TAZ itself tho.
I honestly just could not stick with CritRole. I do think the old Whitestone arc was a showstopper, but then characters started pairing off and one in particular I just DID NOT UNDERSTAND and it turned me off badly.
Friends At The Table is.............. /stares on a rainy dock, looking upon a distant horizon
so Bluff City, their “elseworld Atlantic City crime/conspiracy shenanigans” campaign is so fucking good I get angry. I will listen to “A Bowling Alley, A Boxer, And A Bird” forever, it’s hysterical and also fucking ripped my heart out of my chest in the end.
and I’m halfway through their much more expansive Twilight Mirage campaign, and it’s literally hard for me to continue onward bc I want to go back and listen again already. There are some monologues Austin the GM delivers in the story so gorgeous I’m MAD. I’M MAD AT THE WRITING. There is this THING that happened in Twilight Mirage that seems so fucking forplanned, like there’s no fucking way it could have been organic, but I know it was just Austin nudging pieces into place, and it was one of the best pieces of storytelling I’ve ever seen! JESUS! AND IT HAS MUSIC! AND THE MUSIC BANGS TOO!

I’m gonna prob try RQG, its on my “listen next” list with Penumbra. I’m eager to learn how it stacks up.

/SCREECHES TO A HALT
make sure you listen to the off-broadway version it’s vastly superior and the Official Broadway Recording is bad and made a lot of bad changes
you want this one
tho not for nothing, from the oblique spoilers I’m getting, I think the “Awful Sound (Oh Eurydice)”/”It’s Never Over (Hey Orpheus)” comparison is more fun buuuuuut I’m a music snob so.

Arc, Arc, I want to beg you come join me in Magnus Archives but also it might be too horrory for your tastes. I loooooove it
I’m currently chugging hard through Twilight Mirage but TMA is on my radar. I have a friend who super likes it. I’m eager to give it a shot.

Oh noooooooo. At least you can just add some parm and some leftover veg if you have any and be good to go? Also fun fact: this is why I don’t fuck around with stirring risotto when I"m making it on purpose. It’s unnecessary and a waste of time.
I was making garlic cream chicken and the rice just would not take on any of the cream sauce because the starchy bullshit acted like a forcefield keeping the sauce away
i’ve never mad risotto and i didn’t mean to now 8C
