Monster Slayer (?) has now been batch-sized. This means it should be released somewhere around the Soft Reopen date. I am still seeking input on yellow-centric monsters... or ones that might taste tangy, if anyone wants to help with the ?.

I got the idea of making tea blends that would match up with the D&D campaign I'm currently in, and now the idea just won't go away. Since it was cancelled for today due to our DM having to celebrate her grandmother's birthday, this happened. I'm sorry everyone, you will probably not be even slightly interested in these (I'm not sorry.) Should you care to try them. all blends were made, to the best of my ability, to fit together into a reasonably tasty and cohesive whole.

Characters

Aerin - Flamboyant, flawlessly dressed tiefling assasin bard with a taste for the finer things. A first flush darjeeling base for that refined flavor, with delicately sweet mango and peach accents for complexity, and just a touch of jasmine for a little surprise at the end. An elegant and layered blend, so good you can be assured no one would ever poison it. Serve in a fine china teacup and saucer you've inexplicably been carrying around in the wilderness without its having broken.

Syrenia - Kind, pious, elven cleric of Bahamut, deceptively quiet and patron saint of not putting up with your shit today. A green tea base, sencha for preference, for a light grassy flavor to evoke bygone forests. Marigold and sunflower blossoms for a splash of color to brighten your day, osmanthus for a delicate floral flavor not to be overlooked, and bright orange and lemon peel for a fragrant citrusy pick me up. Enjoy a cup with a friend, or in silent contemplation, and be sure to thank Bahamut for it.

Callum - A fellow assasin totally trustworthy bard, hard to locate when he doesn't want to be found, and a mean hand with a fiddle.  Dark, earthy pu-erh base, with mysterious blackcurrant and blackberry for a full rich flavor, and just a hint of bitter almonds. Absolutely no nightshade, guaranteed, but it'd be best to drink this out of your own cup, and make sure someone else has a sip first. The first time you serve this tea, strip naked.This will encourage you to pour neatly to avoid painful splashes. Give no explanation, and never bring the incident up again afterwards.

Grayson - Crazy dwarf alchemist with a penchant for taking off his pants and animating them into a terrifying clothes golem. Gunpowder green tea mistakenly bought under the impression it was actual gunpowder, yerba mate with enough caffeine to keep you up all night, Irish Breakfast for keeping you awake the next morning, almond and cinnamon bits because he's a nutty firecracker and I have given the fuck up. Brewed in a less than clean flask. This tea is a hot mess and someone probably put meth in it.

Yuriel - I've been informed that genasi aren't "pyromaniacs" they're just "fire-souled" and I am legally required to be "compassionate and understanding." Regardless, our swordmage is surprisingly helpful when he's not setting expensive caravans of silk that the rest of the party has to pay for on fire. Orange pekoe and ceylon base with more laspsang souchong than is prudent, for a strong smoky flavor. Powerful and straightforward. Guaranteed to wake you up in the morning, much like having your sheets set on fire.

Gaius - Steadfast eladrin paladin, we're not really sure how he fell in with our group of clowns but he and Syrenia are probably the only ones keeping everyone else in line. A strong gunpowder green tea base, some calming chamomile which he's definitely going to need later, and spearmint for a taste as sharp and clean as his righteous fury. Serve with honey, it's good for your throat, in between running around healing people.

Shane - Volatile warlock/swordmage with temper problems, attitude problems, drinking problems. Sardonic, brash, and against all probability a good scholar and an excellent human shield for Aerin. Irish breakfast base because he has red hair and I am so clever. Cinnamon bits for fiery spice, unsweetened cocoa for a dark and bitter undertone, black pepper for a sharp bite, and ginger, of course. If you can find some sugar, it somehow blends into something pleasant, but who am I kidding, it's probably being served with a shot of whiskey.
