Ronald is an absolutely spectacular storyteller, character designer, artist, etc.I had trouble narrowing down which pieces to show because there is such a vast amount of great work. But just take a look! So stylish, so well designed, with characters that get you super hyped or stories that punch you right in the gut. 

Speaking of stories, I am going to shamelessly plug that Ronald will be part of the panel for Stories Matter II at Society Of Illustrators. This saturday at 1 pm! (I will also be on the panel along with some other AMAZING illustrators who I respect and cherish dearly). Ronald Wimberly Returns

Joining us for the third year in a row, Ronald Wimberly is one of the most vital voices in comics today. A visual stylist and fearless communicator, Wimberly’s Prince of Cats, an urban, ’80s take onRomeo & Juliet, established him as a creator with a unique point of view and an artist with rare graphic energy.

Subsequent work ranging from mainstream jaunts on She-Hulk to candid, questioning editorial cartoons…

…has only stoked the flames of anticipation for his two upcoming series from Image Comics, Sunset Park and Slave Punk.

Ronald Wimberly will be on a panel Saturday afternoon with Bill Sienkiewicz and David Mack.

She-Hulk #5 came out this week. This job came with a crazy tight deadline for someone who colors part-time (me) but I couldn't pass up working with an artist whose work I admire on a character I've always had a soft spot for. Cross another one off the to-do list. I never would have made this deadline without the help of Co-Kickstand Kid Chris Brunner; he helped me color pretty much every page.
