Working on comic stuff and I’ve just realized I’ve made the exact same frame in 2 different pages. *THE STARE OF DISAPPOINTMENT*
Also this comic is coming out on February 16th. 2 days after Valentine’s Day

So what is D1ner dates?
A quick short story about two buddies, Janus and Oscar enjoying themselves at a 1950 style diner. Janus, despite being a workaholic. Sees someone who catches his eye. A small flutter rises in his chest.

Ok, time for a critique my comic. Aromatic week is over so i can talk shit about it /joking
Main critique: character consistency/lack of character chart
Probably the biggest thing i should’ve had in the first place is a character sheet. Basically a reference to look and see if my blorbos look consistent
Looking at these images. The first image is slightly different in the head shape. My ideal shape would be the first image. I didn’t really draw Oscar or Jansen outside 1-2 pages in my sketchbook so.
Next comic (if i work on another) is first making a reference sheet and drawing my blorbos from multiple angles. And also have them colored so i can reference 1 image rather than previous comic pages.
Next critique is the backgrounds. The first panel i traced out a still image. But then later found a 3D model online.

Which results in this inconsistency with the counter. (Ignore it, the counter moved for the plot. Also so I can do this shot)
I do admit my favorite panel is the one who had no backgrounds and i was free just making shapes to convey emotions. Hopefully my next project has less backgrounds (that or less of an interior) that or I actually plan out my backgrounds more.
Ok I think that’s it. My brains worms are free~ (feel free to mention any other critiques, i like improving my art)
