It's time to speculate about the next villain of Dragon Age 4! Here's my personal wishlist of things I'd like to see regarding the next major threat of Thedas, let me know yours down below.
Please note there will be spoilers for the base game as well as the Trespasser DLC. While I personally have not played any of the DLCs yet I have played most of the Base game and spoiled both for myself. The spoilers will be easy to identify so read at your own caution.
Lore Wise
A Return of the Hero of Fereldan
During all of my playthroughs I fell in love with my Hero. From my Shy Bookish Aireleas Amell who loved her Templar Cullen very much. To Asharerel Mahariel who was a hidden mage among the wardens, who scorned Duncan and Alistair both, felt close to both Leliana and Morrigan and loved Zevran, to Coaihme Cousland who watched her home burn, her family die and reunited with her childhood lover. My list goes on but I would love to see a fully voiced Hero of Fereldan, looking for the Cure and in the case of the female mage origin have the option to romance Cullen
A Return of the Inquisitor
I love my Inquisitors, and honestly I would love to see her or him return in thier one armed glory with a possible attempt to regain thier arm it would not hurt a mage to lose thier arm but a Rogue or a Warrior need thier arm. Come on bioware, please ingage the brain. However I would love a chance even a one armed chance to have a reunion with Solas or Dorian or any other Love Interest.
A Return to the Solas and Female Lavellan Romance
The Solas romance was arguably one of my favorites even in just the base game. There where so many feels. From the first kiss in the fade where we see a more relaxed perhaps even a younger Solas. To the serious kiss post his personal quest that declares your relationship to Skyhold and then the awkward cute flirting at the start and then the very angst filled scene in crestwood. Then in Tresspasser, Mythal I thought I would start sobbing with the feels there. I sincerely hope they make a return to the Solas Romance because I would love to see it mean something more then a tarot card change.
A Return to the Dorian Romance
If the new game takes place into Tevinter I would like to see Dorian again, while he did grate on me it was enduring. I would love to see how a romance or his romance with Bull effected the world. Perhaps even the Inquisition Stays in his home.
New Hero
This one I am mixed on because I would love to see a continuation of the Inquisitor because I do not feel their story is done.
However I would like to see more of a focus on origin stories. It was cool bioware that Lavellan could get a mount if their clan lived however they should be able to get the mount even if the clan did not live. But I want Dragon Age Origin style Origin Stories. I want to be able to connect with my hero that does not involve me completely deciding to write fanfiction for them. I would still do that but I want a background I want to know if they loved their family or hated them.
Also some ideas for Origins that I have seen around a Riviani Seer, an Alamarri Barbarian (Let us chose between Avvar, Chasind, Clayne), An Elvhen Servant from an ancient Temple, and Elven Slave or Servant (from Tevinter or Southern Thedas respectfully), Tevinter Altus or Leatans along with Circle Mage, Dalish Mage and possibly a standard Apostate.
