Exactly!  And by all accounts, Terry was acquainted with actual witches during his life.  So, his descriptions of witchery is based on real life experience.

I remember the one time I had to put regex into my own code, and when it worked I felt like a god.

Usually RegExr helps me unravel what I think I want to happen into what actually happens. But the server is running rules of its own that required different escape characters. And I’m tired of bandaid solutions so I ripped out the entire thing. It’s been a year since the addressing scheme change. I’ll just have to find and fix the broken links the hard way.

Pay attention to anything shiny and new (and probably big) that you may encounter. And then... be wary of it. At the very least, ask a lot of questions about it and what purpose it will really serve in your life.

You were not in the chat, it was a joke/miscommunication. Someone thought it was insulting but we cleared it up that insult was not the intention. I thought whoever told you would be mature enough to know that “what happens in the chat stays in the chat”, but I was wrong. 

It is unrealistic to expect people to never say anything bad about you ever behind your back. Being able to handle criticism/insults is part of being a mature adult as well. 

Don’t try to involve people you have a personal grudge against when you don’t even understand the whole situation. 

You could have messaged me privately to clear things up before making assumptions. So as tumblr is a public space, I will answer this publicly. 

Frankly, I wouldn’t give a shit if people had bad stuff to say about me. It’s part of being an adult and I would not throw a fit if you wanted to talk shit about me too. @da-at-ass

I mean, I know you or I could make magic out of a pile of craft supplies, but I’d just like to know that was the plan.

This starts to stray into the Witchcraft Chopped game show again.

I see a fruitful business plan in Trash Witch Kits that are really just me picking up litter and selling it with a chime candle.
