yall are in for a TREATthis is just pure for the soul and I think I gained 12 years to my life
okay but Lip is a student teacher (or teacher/professor yanno either one ya boi is smart, let him live) and he always drops his kids off at school first
he fights you on this because he loves to watch them go have fun it’s just too cute okay
but
HIS MAIN PRIORITY
he walks them all the way in and gives them huggies and kisses and makes sure they get where they need to be before they leave because he is the best dad
and they are about a year and a half apart, so one is like chillin’ in third grade and the other is in second, yanno just a year apart
He helps them with homework because he knows everything like
“I just went over this with my class last week why are my kids learning this in elementary school what the fuck”
but he helps and he always makes sure they turn in their homework on time
anyways he goes to work and then after his last class he has to rush out to go get his little squirts

he’s standing outside his car as one of the teachers bring the kids out and you know he knows them because they get out a few minutes earlier
they get special treatment
“My kids deserve the best”
and they run up to him smiling and giggling and he picks them up and loves on them before getting in the car
he takes his time buckling them in because you can never be too careful
Lip gets them ice cream before heading home and you get mad but he gets one for you too all the time okay
and at night he tucks them into bed and reads them their favorite book
Lip likes to sing them to sleep, but sometimes he’s just so exhausted from running around all day and he needs sleep to do it all over again tomorrow, you know?
so he recorded a few songs that they loved so much and he kisses their foreheads and plays them
he sings along at first until they start to drift off and then he quietly leaves and he just drags himself to bed
Lip is just a pure father okay
he plays dress up even though Ian gives him shit for it
he does tea parties, whether he has a son or a daughter because fuck they love tea parties
Lip loves tea parties
Lip will read books with them, and write with them, and he’ll sing along to stupid mickey mouse songs and it’s so pure
And he always spends as much time with them during the day because he loves them so much and he would never want to be the dad his father was
he’s just such a good father and you love him for it okay it’s something beautiful

In the mornings, the first thing he does is open the door and turn off their nightlight before singing a good morning song and it just makes everyone happy and they know they’re gonna have a good day because Daddy Lip is there okay
