a/n: Loki and Bucky are not together in this!! They both just take care of you ;)

You have been so excited to play with the new doctor play set that Bucky bought you at the store earlier, that you instantly rip the package open when he hands it to you.

"Can you play with me?" You ask with the best puppy eyes you can muster.

"Uhh, how about you go and ask your other daddy? I still have some mission reports to go over, doll." He explains softly, ruffling your hair.

With a little pout, you nod and kiss his cheek before skipping off to the library in the tower to search for Loki.

"Daddy! Daddy! Play with me, pleeeease!" You whine, rushing over to where he’s lounging on a couch.

Loki chuckles and takes a better look at you, seeing that you are wearing a white robe that Banner must have given you together with black plastic glasses without the glass for playing pretend, holding your bag in one hand and in the other a clipboard.

"Hello there, little doctor." He smirks, continuing to read his book as you start to examine his 'wounds' and 'injuries', scribbling some doodles on the board with your tongue poking out in concentration.

"Otay, now I have to give you a small shot." You say seriously, not seeing the way Loki smirks at what he’s planning to do as you gently press the plastic needle onto his arm.

You startle with a slight jump when he suddenly hisses, rubbing the spot on his arm where the toy needle was just a second ago.

"Ow, that hurt, doctor." He grimaces, instantly regretting his choices as you tear up and run out of the library with Loki calling after you.

Bucky is shocked when you barge into the office, running to him while tears stream down your pretty face. "Doll, what happened?" He asks, lifting you smoothly onto his lap, gently wiping some tears away with his thumb. "Come on, tell dada."

"Pwease, didn't mean to- to hurt daddy! I p’omise!" You sob into his neck, holding onto him for dear life. "Don' mean to be bad..."

Just as he is about to ask again what exactly had happened he sees Loki standing in the doorway, his expression full of guilt.

"You didn't hurt me, little one. I was just pretending and didn’t think of how you would react to it." Loki tries to calm you while Bucky sends him a death glare, standing up with you in his arms.

"Let's go and watch some cartoons to calm down, would you like that, babydoll?" You only nod in response, looking over Bucky's shoulder at Loki and hold your hand out for him, seeing on his face that he really felt sorry for scaring you like that.

He follows after Bucky, watching him get settled on couch with you snuggled against his side and smiles when you make grabby hands for him, wanting to cuddle.

Loki doesn’t waste another second and sits down on the sofa next to you, sighing on relief as you nuzzle now against him instead while still holding Bucky's metal hand in your own.

As soon as Bucky notices that you are sleeping peacefully he lands a slap on the back of Loki's head, ignoring the way the god glares at him.

"You try shit like that again, Mischief, you will sleep outside as Barton did after scaring her by jumping out of the vents." Bucky warns him in a whisper.
