what do you think about moms against catboys?
When I was nine and therefore obsessed with manga, I uncritically bought into the perception of "Catboys" as legitimate entities, even though I knew that the typical MADCAT was a cartoon cat. I guess I had this vague sense that "Catboys" and "Madscientists" were two competing ways of describing the same mysterious secret realm of aesthetic and allegorical motifs, and so it made perfect sense to think of them as equivalent in the same way that e.g. IPUs and Scholars are both "Lampshades"
