Me and my stacks of different versions of me. different sides, different feelings. different aspects of world observations, different masks for different surroundings. paradoxes in my thoughts and opinions.
scary thing is, I can step out of myself, and just observe the mask, the different versions of me.
take them out and look at them.
observe them.

A man by himself on an island will go insane. But are two men on an island more sane than the one? Or is it just that a shared insanity is more acceptable to humans than individual insanity. Daehyum Kim's work, to me, seems to be dealing with the emotional connections between two people, how one effects the other and how they fabricate reality collaboratively. OR, is his work about self-doubt and wrestling against oneself? I dont know, but it's all really lovely stuff in an absolutely uncanny way.
