                ◈ . : He's well dressed, glasses tucked in his pocket, hair neatly combed back. The contacts irritate his eyes but he figures they'll be fine. Wood's nice car parked carefully in the driveway. He looks up at the large house, clearing his throat before ringing the doorbell. Hand immediately returning to his sides. He is suddenly both very irritated and very relieved he didn't bring a snickers bar with him, though one is in the glovebox in the car. The door opens and he holds the flowers just that much tighter. A small nervous smile, eyes flicked across her and he feels heat rush across his features, leaving a dusting of light pink across his cheeks. "Lady Aphrodite..."

HE DIDN’T really expect a visit from her but he never really expected much from others even on a GOOD DAY. But in light of recent events he had HOPED no one would come knocking for a while. THOUGH HERE SHE WAS. IF NOTHING else he had to admire her grit, she didn’t exactly seem bothered by his temperament as of right now with the REVELATION of his father’s demise but he suspects SOMETHING’S AMISS. 

His beard is still DONNED with gentle flowers...LILLIES, DAISIES, anything Elpis could find just outside his cabin when she’d come to check in on him. AND TRUTHFULLY he hadn’t the mind to take them out since it was the only NICE thing he’d encountered. HIS HANDS brace on the fireplace as he doesn’t turn to look at he proper.
