Hello July! I have a feeling it will be the month of the dahlias in my garden! This is the first bloom of the gorgeous anemone dahlia ‘Blue Bayou’. I am in love with the combination of the lavender colored outer petals and the darker lavender pincushion center. I think this one will be gorgeous in bouquets together with dark purple varieties like for example ‘Thomas Edison’, which I happen to grow as well but hasn’t bloomed yet. Oh, the joy of anticipation of all the glorious possibilities when it comes to flower arranging with dahlias...
