Here are my two most recent To Do lists. I started making these lists on paper, in a drawing journal, after many years depending on digital āStickiesā and it has revolutionized my life. I still use the computer to keep track of computer-based tasks and links and such, but I untangle my mind on paper, making no differentiation between work for clients, art projects, grocery lists and errands and tasks managing my fatherās care. It all exists on one page until everything on that page has been completed or tracked some other way. These pages allow me to see whatās occupying space in my mind, and to celebrate with a moment of creativity every time a task is completed. My most recent list has its beginning date in the center, surrounded by the projects and challenges that were most gripping my mind at that time. Tasks pertaining to those topics radiate out from the central texts. New, unrelated things get squeezed in between and around the edges. My next list might follow this format again (I do like it). Then again, it might look like a landscape of rolling hills, or tumbling ocean waves, or a nest of spiders. Or who knows what. Iāll decide according to how Iām feeling in the moment... Stay tuned, Iāll post this new list again once itās finished. . . . #listmaking #dailylist #journalpage #drawing #doodles #everydaycreativity #creativity #productivity #artistjournal #listing #sketchbookpage #sketchbook #penandpaper #inkandpaper #penonpaper #ToDolist #ToDoLists #workinprogress #WIP #unfinished #spontaneous #streamofconsciousness #improvising #lists #sketchbookpage https://www.instagram.com/p/CLpaTz0HApo/?igshid=11uyqeodkqvao
