I am very shy in the real World and found blogging to be my outlet for my voice. As I have gotten older, my real World voice is getting stronger, but I am still struggling to speak out for what I believe in!
I do like to tell stories and this story has been playing on my mind for some time.
Please try and empathize with this story:
I was born a boy and my mother worked in a factory producing dairy milk. My mother didn’t have me through the natural means of man meet woman, but it was through artificial insemination not by choice. She was raped! She didn’t choose to have me, but she loved me anyway.
She didn’t get to love me for long because her rapist took me from her after only a few hours. I was then sent to some kind of boarding house. It was a very crammed room and I could see others who were brought here. We were fed a lot of food, but never allowed out to stretch our legs or just get fresh air. My mother was still working at the factory as far as I was aware, but I was never allowed to see her.
When I was about 20 weeks old, after enduring such crammed conditions and having very weak bones due to my housing. I was taken on a trip. Myself and others from the boarding house were lead to a big bus that took us to a factory. It didn’t look exactly like my mothers factory, so I knew I wasn’t being taken to see her.
Unfortunately this is where my story ends… I was taken to a place were I was killed!
If you hadn’t realized by now, I am probably on your plate. I am veal! I was a calf and now I am referred to as veal. I died so that my mother can supply you with dairy milk and I, myself, can be your meal.
do you have any guilt for me? Do you feel my pain now you know my story?
This not a brilliant story, but a true story nonetheless, to get you thinking about life as a human. What we do not tolerate happening to a fellow human, but happily accept happening to another Earthling!!
