Takeru hadn’t meant to stumble upon Daisuke while he was alone and...crying, it seemed. The blonde had wandered onto the field in search of Hikari and Taichi, but found his emotional friend instead. Takeru’s heart sped up a tiny bit with a sudden wave of anxiety and sadness. Seeing his leader in this state gave him an uneasy feeling-- as if he was intruding on something that shouldn’t even be happening in the first place.
“ I just happened to be walking by. But are you...uh...Daisuke-kun, do you wanna tell me what’s wrong? ” Takeru asked slowly and quietly, but he didn’t move to sit down next to his friend just yet. If Daisuke suddenly decided him being there was too embarrassing, Takeru wanted to at least respect his pride.
